The .zed format is an extension of the BitTorrent file format that enables Podmailing software to deal with e-mail messaging while keeping compatible with BitTorrent software.

We publish .zed format here because we believe it is mandatory for a widespread adoption of e-mail+BitTorrent to exchange large files.

Feel free to comment on this format, feel free to implement it in your own software, feel free to enrich it.

Starting with version 0.8, Podmailing includes gettext support for localization.
